Ceremony
The Inka Sun Staff and its community are not a religion, set of doctrines, or in any way committed to a particular ceremony. We welcome the opportunity to have the Great Staff or its progeny Inka Sun Staffs present at any group’s sacred ceremonies. We encourage individuals to connect with the Staff and its community during their own self-chosen meditation and ritual. For people who feel that having a physical Staff would enhance their energetic work with the ISS Community, we will send a Staff by mail.
As a condition for inclusion of a Staff in anyone’s spiritual or energetic work, we simply ask that the Great Staff and the Inka Sun Staffs be treated with respect and used in Sacred Space, defined and created by the Friends of the Staff involved.
Historically, the Great Staff has been involved primarily in two styles of ceremony; a Fire Ceremony and a Despacho Ceremony. Any Friend of the Staff that wants to use all or part of these ceremonies for themselves is welcome and encouraged do to so.
Increasingly, the Great Staff joins existing groups as an honored guest and participates in their own ritual event in a way that enhances without impeding their customary rhythm and ceremony.
